Obtaining an offline build key

The offline build key is generated daily and is used when you build a computer that is not connected to the network, or a computer that only has a wireless connection.

The key is a security measure to prevent unauthorised users from building computers.

To obtain an offline build key

From the RM Management Console Tools menu, choose Offline Build Key. Make a note of the key listed.

When building a computer, type this key when prompted during the build process.
